Cuba holidays

Rum, cigars, beaches, Hemingway,  salsa, communism and Che. Welcome to Cuba! Images of this fascinating island are endless, however what remains the same is that all holidays in Cuba are truly memorable.

Cuba holidays with Abercrombie & Kent are truly magical experiences, with expert guides on hand to direct you to the best the island has to offer.

Cuba luxury holidays are unique in many ways.  The island also stands out in the Caribbean due to its geographical variety - the flat lands are used for farming and include cattle farms, citrus groves, rice fields and emerald green tobacco plantations in Vinales these are interrupted by large outcrops of limestone topped with lush vegetation called 'mogotes'. These distinctive conical limestone monoliths dotting the landscape are found nowhere else in the world. Cuba boasts the greatest diversity of plants and animals in all the Caribbean.

Further pleasures to be found in Cuba are the colonial cities that remain remarkably unspoilt. Havana itself is a World Heritage site with a number of the colonial buildings converted into charming hotels.

Holidays to Cuba, wherever you go, you will be accompanied by music. The melting pot of African and Spanish cultures brings a vibrant buzz to the towns with carnival celebrated annually - a vibrant backdrop to liven all Cuba holidays.

Any visitor, whatever opinions they have about communism and capitalism, will see that Cubans today have a better health service, education system and employment status than any other Latin American country.  On the other hand, a tourist to Cuba will have to prepare themselves for an 'interesting' concept of service and quality, timely 'communist restrictions' and the 'need', though often charming, to relieve any traveller of their supply of foreign currency.

Trinidad is a colonial gem and arguably the most beautiful town in Cuba. It is said the town is still dozing in the 1700s and represents a perfect relic of early Spanish colonialism with several shady plazas, numerous churches and palaces, narrow cobblestone streets and red tiled roofs and a town to be visited during any holiday to Cuba

Cuba holidays are perfect for anyone prepared to explore as you will be fully rewarded for your efforts. It is without doubt a beautiful, varied destination that will thrill and excite even the most experienced traveller.
